WhatsApp Secret Code: Earlier this year, Whatsapp introduced Chat Lock to enhance the security of our sensitive conversations. Recently Whatsapp Introduced a New ‘Secret Code’ Feature for Locked Chats, which provides an additional layer of protection for our chats, making them even more secure, especially if you share your phone with someone else.
With Secret Code, you now have the option to set a unique password specifically for locking your chats. This password is different from the one you use to unlock your phone, adding an extra level of privacy to your conversations. You can choose to hide the Locked Chats folder from your chat list, ensuring that only those who know the secret code can access it by typing it into the search bar. However, if you prefer, you can still have your locked chats appear in the chat list.
Locking a new chat is now more convenient than ever. Simply long-press on the chat you want to secure instead of going into the chat’s settings.
This feature will be rolled out for the users on 17 December 2023 ( According to Leaks )
